This week was packed with business planning, brainstorming, celebrations, and learning. Like last week I set a goal of getting one big thing done each week day. Here’s how it all went
Monday: Stress Management Webinar Prep
I completed the deck and handouts for my upcoming Stress Management webinar in Boston. I also joined a mastermind call with fellow speakers to kick off the week with fresh ideas and collaboration.
Tuesday: Celebrating Beth’s Birthday
Tuesday was a special day—Beth’s birthday! We celebrated with dinner at O’Charley’s, enjoying time with family. In between, I managed to send out a speaker agreement for a new keynote coming up in December.
Speaking of Beth – I still have a note she put on my white board about four years ago (lower left corner in the picture.
Wednesday: Business Brainstorming, Day One
Wednesday marked the start of my 2025 business brainstorming session. I spent time reflecting on my wins from 2024 and setting some high-level goals for 2025. On top of that, I began laying the groundwork for a new keynote. With some time left over, I used ChatGPT to help outline and draft the first version of my upcoming book, Fry Your Chickens!
Thursday: Business Brainstorming, Day Two
Thursday was all about execution—focusing on social media and video strategies for 2025. I also squeezed in some time to watch my Cleveland Guardians clinch a spot in the 2024 playoffs. A productive day with a fun highlight!
Friday: NSA Ohio Education Session
Friday brought some powerful insights. I attended the NSA Ohio session StoryWealth: Building Your Speaking Empire with John Register. I already thought I knew how to use ChatGPT effectively, but John’s session opened my eyes to a range of new possibilities. It was a great way to end the week with fresh inspiration!
The Takeaway
This week was a perfect mix of forward planning, family celebration, and learning new strategies. By focusing on both reflection and innovation as part of my business planning and brainstorming, I’m setting the stage for a successful 2025. How are you preparing for your own growth and success?
